Benedum notches fourth-place finish in Earl Hill Memorial

With 23 Super Late Models entered, Benedum stopped the clock third-fastest overall before picking up a heat race win. With $5,080 on the line in the feature, Mike dropped one spot to register a fourth-place finish. He trailed Jacob Hawkins, Jared Hawkins, and Zack Dohm to the checkers with Kyle Thomas rounding out the Top-5.
On Monday at Beckley Motor Speedway (Beckley, W.Va.), Mike secured his spot into the $7,500-to-win A-Main with a second-place finish in his heat. After running as high as third, Benedum slipped back to sixth when the checkered flag flew in the 40-lapper.
