Benedum Enters Pair of Events in Pennsylvania and West Virginia

Friday night found the team pitted at Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex (Markleysburg, Pennsylvania) for the opening round of the annual Appalachian Mountain Speedweek. A strong field of forty-three entries were on hand to kick off the mini-series, and Mike started his outing strong by blazing to fast time honors during qualifications with a 15.887 seconds lap. Unfortunately, his luck would change during the heat race when a flat tire relegated him to a ninth place finish. Benedum used a provisional to earn a starting spot at the back of the field and ultimately finished nineteenth in the final rundown. Full results from the event are available at www.LMSpeedweek.com

Saturday evening saw the team returning to familiar territory, as they traveled to Elkins Raceway (Elkins, West Virginia) for an unsanctioned $3,000-to-win program.
