Benedum Heads to Tyler County for Jackpot 100

Running with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series, Mike Benedum traveled to Tyler County Speedway (Middlebourne, West Virginia) on Saturday night for the two-day Jackpot 100. Drawing thirty-three cars, Benedum edged his way into the $8,000-to-win A-Main with a 4th place outing in his heat. Starting in 16th, Mike fell two spots in the 40-lapper registering an 18th place finish.

The following night Benedum came up one position short of a transfer spot in his heat with a 5th place finish. Needing 3rd place finish or better to make the show, Mike Benedum cruised to a consolation win earning him an 18th place starting spot for the feature. With $10,000 on the line, Mike advanced two spots in the 60-lap A-Main logging a 16th place finish.
