Benedum Attends Dirt Track World Championship at Portsmouth

Friday night found Mike Benedum in action at Portsmouth Raceway Park (Portsmouth, Ohio) for the 38th annual Rhino Ag Dirt Track World Championship. With 49 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries on hand for the two-day event, Mike followed up a 9th place finish in his first heat with a 8th place finish in his second heat. Transferring into the B-Main for another shot at the $100,000-to-win finale, Benedum fell short with an 8th place finish. Earning a spot into the Jim Dunn Memorial non-qualifiers feature, Mike Benedum jumped up three spots in the 30-lapper to place 3rd.
